FAQs

  • Are permits required?

Every county varies. It is the customers responsibility to check with there county if any permits are required. That said:
    - Specifications and Calculations are purchased separately, if requested.
    - Specifications and Calculations are non-refundable, once purchased.

  • Does the ground need to be leveled?

Yes, we will not do any foundation work to the job site. Any ground work needed must be done before the date of installation. If job site isn’t leveled, installers will not install your unit and a $350.00 restocking fee/return fee will be added to your balance due.

  • Do I have to pour concrete? If so, can you do the concrete?

Concrete does not necessarily need to be poured as we can install on ground and asphalt as well. We do not do any concrete foundation work.

  • Is the deposit refundable if order is canceled?

Custom orders are non-refundable. Standard sizes, are refundable only within the first 30 days from when your deposit was paid.

  • What do I need to do to get the order started?

All we need is a signature on the contract, the color selection for the unit, the address and phone number(s) to contact you for installation dates and a 10% down payment.

  • What are your payment methods?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Checks or Money Orders. We do not accept American Express.

  • I'm getting ready to pour my concrete, what is the size you require?

In order to make the building watertight all around, the slab must be the EXACT size of the building (outside to outside).
    - The perimeter must be a minimum of a footing (12″inches wide x 12″inches thick) or more according to your building specs.
    - Every anchor must be 4″inches away from the edge of the concrete slab. There is an extra charge for Welded “L” Brackets for the interior of the base rail.

  • What if I already have an existing slab and its bigger than the dimensions of the building?

We can still install your building, but it will not be watertight. In addition, we cannot guarantee existing slabs will pass inspections.

  • What is your turn around/installation time?

Turn-around time varies. Weather conditions also determine installation dates, so if weather conditions are not suitable, expect delays until further notice. Your turn around time does not begin until your 10% down payment is paid. If going through the permit process, than your lead time does not begin until your permit is approved.

  • How much clearance is needed for installations?

If the unit is fully enclosed please take in consideration that our crew must be able to move around the entire structure with ladders and drill tools. We require a minimum of 3′ per side and end. If your unit is going to be installed next to an existing home, we must also have at least 2′ of clearance above the roof line. Example, if you are planning to purchase an 8′ eave unit and it is going to be installed next to an existing home/garage etc., the eave height of your existing structure must be 2′ taller than the eave height of your new metal unit. If upon arrival you are not able to provide these clearances, a labor charge will be added to your bill.
